Cities worldwide have been experiencing severe storms and extreme weather over the past decade, causing devastating floods that have destroyed properties and disrupted communities.

Held in between main editions of SIWW, SIWW Spotlight 2025, from 23-25 June at the Singapore EXPO, will focus on how cities can adapt and build greater resilience to floods and extreme weather events. Themed "Flood Resilient Cities: Adapting to Climate Change", Spotlight 2025 will feature programmes aimed at bringing together 250+ leaders from cities, utilities, regulators, and industry, including 40+ cities, to exchange experiences, share case studies, and foster peer learning on climate challenges.

SIWW Spotlight 2025 is co-located with the 41st International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research World Congress (IAHR2025 Singapore).

Curated thematic-focused 60-minute sessions will present case studies of projects and solutions that have been successfully implemented in cities in areas such as master planning, digital tools and disaster recovery.
